LNF
LNF material has been developed to enhance the ACM Bearings Ltd range of materials across many markets including rail, marine, civil and general engineering. The material offers improved performance characteristics over its conventional nylon felt competitors, especially in applications involving arduous and hostile conditions, and has been approved as a direct replacement.
LNF is an engineered nylon based composite material. It comprises of a nylon fabric in a specially formulated anti-scuffing thermosetting resin which contains solid lubricants, allowing the material to operate under dry, grease, oil and water conditions. LNF offers excellent bearing characteristics, excellent stability in water and high compressive strength coupled with long life.
The material is available in tube from 10 mm up to 1600 mm OD by 1400 long, and sheet up to 2000 mm x 1000 mm x 150 mm thick. It can also be supplied fully machined.
